by Hadia
Hadia will be teaching "Khatwa Serena" an exhilarating
Drum Solo by Hossam Ramzy
that was written for and is named after his wife,
Serena. "Khatwa Serena" means "Serena's Step" and blends the
best of Egyptian rhythms with spirited Brazilian Samba.
HADIA displays
her artistic genius in her
choreographic interpretation of an Egyptian/Brazilian
fusion,
articulating each bounce and beat of this fun and lively dance.
Cost

Hadia will be teaching an Oriental technique & choreography workshop!!!!
at the Starlight Dance
Center Ballroom
at 7 High Street
Nutley, NJ
from 11:00am - 3:30pm (Doors
open at 10:30am for registration)
(includes half hour break for lunch)
In
the morning, Hadia will be teaching her radically different
warm-up and Body
Logic approach to
Oriental Dance Technique and
how to make your dancing
effortless and easy.
After the break, Hadia will be teaching an
Oriental Choreography to
"Tales of the Sahara" by Jalilah Zamora,
which
is a dramatic oriental piece with deliciously
rich melody and strong, but
subtle rhythms.
HADIA's choreography generously captures the elegance,
dynamic and beautiful rhythmical changes of this charming Raks Sharki piece
which
includes subtle mood changes, mesmerizing sections,
hypnotic riff and hip-shaking
shimmies.
Cost of Workshop $65.00 per person for
advance registration

From Route 3 East:
Get off at the Passaic Avenue / Nutley / Passaic Exit (Route
7). Make a right on to Ward Avenue. Make left on to Passaic Avenue which turns
in to Cathedral Avenue. Go to the end and make a left on to Kingsland Street.
Go to the light and make a right on to Franklin Avenue. Immediately after the
train tressel and light, make a right on to High Street. Starlight Dance Center
is on the left side of the street.
