Oriental Dance Rhythms & Technique

Uptown Dance Studio located at

from 8:00pm - 10:00pm

Part 1:
Familiarizing yourself with rhythms is essential to every Oriental dancer!
Chadia will discuss different rhythms and Gamal will demonstrate on drum!
(bring paper and a pen to write some important information down).
Gamal will also talk to us about performing to live music.
So, come prepared with any questions that you might have on rhythms or live music for Gamal!!

Part 2:
After a short break, accompanied by Gamal on tabla,
Chadia will use these rhythms to go over hip technique, combinations,
traveling steps and drills across the floor!!

Please bring dance shoes - no barefeet or socks allowed!
