Prepare for a day
of fun and dance with a
great warm-up and stretch with Nacira.
Altagracia:
11:00am - 12:30pm
Altagracia will teach Latin/Arabic movements, graceful Spanish
stylized arm movements and how to combine both these elements with your Middle
Eastern Dance steps. There will be a short segment using basic fan technique.
Lunch
Break: 12:30pm - 1:00pm
Layla: 1:00pm - 2:30pm
Cymbals are our friends!
Layla's approach to cymbals is simple, effective and fun. Share in her expertise
as she demonstrates how to bring excitement and drama into your show with the
creative use of cymbals. Prior experience with cymbals recommended. Lively choreography
included in class. Bring your finger cymbals and energy!

Directions:
From Route 46 West: Take the Outwater Lane/Garfield/Passaic exit. At the
top of the exit, make a left. Continue on Outwater Lane and pass the Russian Orthdox
Church on your left side. Pass the light and the gas station on your left. Also
pass the VFW and Amvet Halls on your left. As you look on your left side, after
the Amvets Hall, go 2 or 3 blocks and you will see a sign that says Tarucco Offices,
make a left on to Chestnut Street. (If you go to the light which is Palisades
Avenue, you have gone too far). Turn right on to Dewey Street. Turn left on to
Cedar Street.
From Route 46 East: Take the the Outwater Lane/Garfield/Passaic exit. At the top of the exit, turn right on to Outwater Lane. Then follow directions as per above
